At Balance! Environmental, we're passionate about sharing our knowledge of Australia's unique species and ecosystems and our understanding of the science behind conservation and sustainable land management.
Along with helping today's land managers better understand the ecosystems they manage, we work with educators and community interest groups, in both formal and informal settings, to raise awareness of biodiversity and conservation through unique learning experiences. Much of our work in this area is on a pro bono basis, but we are keen to collaborate with education and community groups to develop and deliver novel ways of engaging learners of all ages in environmental experiences that improve awareness, understanding and, most importantly, positive contributions to nature conservation in the future.
We firmly believe that the future security of Australia's species and ecosystems (and the food-production systems that rely on them) depends on the children of today having access to experiences of the natural environment that help them understand the importance of balancing conservation with production and development. To this end, Balance! Environmental offers services into the Primary and Secondary Education sectors, working either directly with individual schools or through affiliated organisations such as Environmental Education Centres.
